Challenge
Having worked with the Telereal Trillium team on a couple of other property developments, we were delighted when we won the pitch to create the brand for their latest development in the heart of Balham.
Irene Studios is a modern, high quality, design led conversion project, transforming the office block formerly known as Irene House. Telereal Trillium and their project partner, Savills, wanted the development to have an identity that would reflect the unique vibe of Balham and really resonate with their youthful target audience.
+ Solution
With the majority of the development being studio apartments, and with it being the perfect place to balance busy weeks in the city with slower weekends spent brunching and strolling the commons, our winning idea was to create an identity that is all about ‘The art of modern living’.
We renamed the development as Irene Studios to better reflect the space and to tie in with the idea of art. We then commissioned local artists to create diverse and authentic representations of the development, as well as the surrounding area and lifestyle. These illustrations then formed the base of an identity that truly feels like an accurate reflection of life in Balham and the development’s target audience.
As well as the traditional applications such as brochures, adverts and websites, the brand has been brought to life physically with a gallery style hoarding that features the work of local illustrators. A launch event also showcased a live window illustration from one of our featured artists and pulled the crowds in with a Balham staple; fresh coffee.
